This extension adds 5 fields to the product file (ISBN10, ISBN13, Publisher, Publication Date, Format) and extends the advanced search function to allow searching by ISBN, publisher and format. It also suppresses the display of model number on latest products and product info (as I don't consider model no relevant for bookstores) ... and it makes some basic changes to text to make some wording more appropriate for bookstores.

Although it adds 5 quite specific fields to product info (and 4 of those to the advanced search option) you should easily be able to work out what you need to do to the various files to add fewer, more or different fields.
