Project MORE honored Stanford Health Care and Stanford Medicine’s PRIDEnet with the Partner of the Year Award.  Founded in 2013, Project MORE Foundation is a leading nonprofit service and support provider to the Northern California Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning (LGBTQ+) and Ally community. Stanford Health Care is committed to better serving the LGBTQ+ community through a number of dedicated initiatives, including hiring the inaugural Executive Director for Stanford Medicine’s LGBTQ+ Health Program, offering a variety of gender-affirming surgeries, and making foundational systemic changes that will create a more inclusive environment for patients, families, and staff through the We Ask Because We Care initiative. Stanford Medicine’s PRIDEnet is an LGBTQ+ community engagement network that catalyzes LGBTQ+ health research. PRIDEnet connects community members with ways to participate in research and creates opportunities for community input to inform all stages of the research process. PRIDEnet supports multiple research endeavors, including The PRIDE Study and the All of Us Research Program.
