CHRIS SHAHIN QUARTET - Jazz
Chris Shahin is a musician, composer, and teacher based in San Jose. Like many teenage boys, Chris grew up listening to the classic rock guitar heroes but always had an ear and love for jazz and instrumental music. Chris has composed five original instrumental albums with some of the Bay Area’s finest musicians. The Chris Shahin Group plays an electric and entertaining mix of classic guitar instrumentals, jazz, and originals.
MAY 28

The quartet features vocalist Tamara Dunn, MD, who sings jazz standards from the American Song Book and some blues. Tamara is a Stanford School of Medicine faculty member in the Division of Hematology. She is joined by fellow physician Terrigal Burn, MD, who recently retired from the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Chris Davis on bass and John Anning on drums round out the quartet.
