Some URLs, especially SEO-friendly URLs, can pass a "blank" page number to the OpenCart back end, which can cause the error log to be filled with warnings about a "non well formed numeric value" in the page counter - often several errors for every page load! Writing to the error log so frequently can massively slow down or crash your website, and even render it unusable if the error log grows to fill the server's capacity.
